On April 15-17, your fellow Monarchs competed at the 2016 CHSSA State Championship at Mission College in Santa Clara, CA, where all the best schools in the state gathered to compete for the state title. After a long year of preparation and a nerve-wracking weekend, your Monarchs' efforts culminated with them racking up 99 points and bringing home the first place sweepstakes award, making them the top speech and debate program out of 300+ schools in the state of California!
